The card for Bellator Champions Series San Diego is now complete.
The promotion on Tuesday announced the full lineup for the event, which takes place at Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California, on Sept. 7. The card is headlined by a lightweight championship clash between Usman Nurmagomedov and Alexandr Shabliy and will air in its entirety on Max in the United States.
In the bantamweight co-main event, Raufeon Stots will square off against Marcos Breno. Meanwhile, Lorenz Larkin will face Levan Chokheli in a No. 1 contender’s bout at welteweight. The main draw will also include a middleweight clash between Douglas Lima and Aaron Jeffrey and a lightweight scrap pitting Yancy Medeiros against Jora Ayvazyan.
Several preliminary bouts were also confirmed for Bellator San Diego: Grant Neal vs. Khalid Murtazaliev at middleweight; Masayuki Kikuiri vs. Herman Terrado at welterweight; Bryce Meredith vs. John MaCalolooy at bantamweight; Josh Hokit vs. Sean Rose at heavyweight and Aysia Cortez vs. Ashley Thiner at strawweight.
