All across America, millions of people will cast their vote for their House representative, Senator, Governor and other State and local government positions.

The political climate in the US is in turmoil and is as polarized as ever, with both Democrats and Republicans finding it hard to meet in the middle on many topics.

Abortion rights.
The right to contraception.
The right to marry the person you love.

These and more are at risk in these midterm elections.

That is why this particular midterm election is so important, as the House and Senate’s majority will be decided, which will impact President Biden’s ability to pass important bills over the last 2 years of his term.

From a betting perspective, the ODDS are available to our Canadian and International readers at CAESARS Sportsbook and they look like this:

Midterm House and Senate Control

Republican House and Republican Senate -250

Republican House and Democratic Senate +230

Democratic House and Republican Senate +1100

Democratic House and Democratic Senate +2500

House Control

Republican Party Controls House -1600

Democratic Party Controls House +800

Senate Control

Republican Party Controls Senate -280

Democratic Party Controls Senate +220

Midterm Odds Takeaway

Looking at these odds, it is pretty obvious to see that it is looking very likely that the Republicans will take control of the House of Representatives and the Senate this midterm.

If you bet $10 on the Republicans to win the House and the Senate at -250, you would only profit $4.

With those odds and that little of a payout, its tough to want to bet it, but it shows that it is almost a forgone conclusion at this point.

The House and the Senate were controlled by the Democrats for the past 2 years so this will surely change the political landscape in the United States for the coming years and make the Presidential race that much more interesting.

It is fascinating to read these odds.

Not necessarily to bet them, but to get an understanding of the lines and how they really are telling the story here.

The lines will tell the story, most of the time before the news does.
