1. Vince Dunn Point -110 on BetOnline:
Kraken defenseman Dunn is a point producer
This line is just too damn good not to take. Vince Dunn and the Seattle Kraken will kick off the first NHL slate against the St. Louis Blues at 4:30 ET today and this player prop should help build some bankroll.
Dunn had a point in 79% of ALL home games last season. In those 29 home games he had a point in 23 of them. You can even eek out more value by taking his assist for +150, which he hit in 62% of home games last season.
This NHL player prop becomes even tastier as Dunn will be facing off against the team who drafted him. And while he doesn’t have the best history against the Blues (hitting in 3 of 8 games) the Blues are a team in transition. This Central team feels like they could be re-tooling a bit and both of their goalies can be very hot and cold. They also allowed the 9th most shots on goal (SOG) to defensemen, which should help Dunn get pucks to the net.
Let’s start the day off right with this tasty NHL best bets. And if you want to double down on this match, you can get former 40 goal scorer Jared McCann point for -125.

2. Matthew Tkachuk Assist for +100 on BetOnline:
Matthew Tkachuk has found a ton of success against the Bruins making him a best bet
Boy does it feel good when you shop for lines and find value. Matthew Tkachuk assist is around -120 on most books, but not BetOnline. We are getting his assist at even money making this one of my favorite NHL best bets.
Tkachuk as an affinity for playing against Boston. He has a point in 7 of the last 10 regular season games against, with 10 points in those games. Of those 10 points, 7 of them are assists. Tkachuk is a big time player, and you know he will be amped up for the season home opener. He had an assist in 50% of all home games last year.
Another angle for this prop is that Boston gave the 4th most penalties to opposing teams last year. The Bruins have always played a heavy game, but they particularly do not like the Panther due to a heartbreaking loss to them in the playoffs two years ago. Tkachuk could have ample opportunity on one of the top power play units in the league.
And while Boston had a top penalty kill last season, they will most likely start backup goaltender Korpisalo who has struggled in preseason. Expect Tkachuk to get a helper tonight making it an NHL best bet.

3. Dylan Guenther Goal +175 on BetOnline:
Dylan Guenther looks like a prime breakout player
Dylan Guenther is not a household name…yet. But the young player can do it all, especially score. He was on a 35 goal pace last season, with 18 goals in 45 games. He just signed a mega deal and is ready to prove to his Utah teammates and owners he was worth every penny.
Tonight in the first ever Utah Hockey Club game, the sniper is in a prime spot to make the crowd erupt. Utah will take on the Chicago Blackhawks who allowed the 4th most goals against per game last season (averaged 3.57). They also had one of the worst penalty kills in the league (8th worst) and allowed the 7th most shots against.
This all adds up for one of Utah’s most dangerous weapons to take advantage of a Chicago team who will be mismatched when trying to defend him. Shockingly his point is only -135 as well, if you want something a bit safer. But Guenther has a shot that teammate Keller said only Auston Matthews could beat making this an NHL best bet.
