Inter Miami/Saint Louis: Both Teams To Score (-185)

Do you also enjoy watching Lionel Messi perform on the field? We sure do. Thanks to their Barcelona powerhouses, Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba, and Sergio Busquets, Inter Miami stands as the strongest team in MLS. Their confidence in outscoring opponents means they aren’t concerned about conceding goals. Averaging more than two goals per match and giving up just over one goal per match, they’re a safe bet. The prediction is a 2.3-1.3 scoreline favoring Miami. The match-up is interesting, with Miami’s high event style versus Saint Louis’ low event, possession style. Messi and Suarez are anticipated to take the field and challenge Saint Louis to the fullest. If the odds of -185 seem too attractive, consider combining it with over 2.5 goals for -130 or a Messi goal at any time for +138. It’s expected that Miami will play their star players for at least 60 minutes in tonight’s match, which is slated to be Messi’s final MLS game before the start of the Copa America.

Philadelphia Union/CF Montreal: Both Teams To Score (-150)

This season, Montreal has given up the second-highest number of goals in the league. However, they’ve recently found their creative stride. Their anticipated goal count aligns with their actual tally and their team is beginning to harmonize offensively. On the other hand, Philadelphia hasn’t allowed a goal in three consecutive games, indicating an impending downturn. They defend effectively, but it’s unlikely they’ve gone almost 300 minutes of play without conceding a goal. With two consecutive scoreless ties, betting on this game is risky. Yet, the projection suggests both teams will score today, leading to a 1-1 draw. My personal prediction leans towards a 2-1 win for Philadelphia, concurring that both teams are likely to score in tonight’s game.

Vancouver Whitecaps/Colorado Rapids: Both Teams To Score (-185)

This match is predicted to have the highest score of the day, which isn’t surprising. Vancouver has scored in all but three MLS matches this season, averaging nearly 1.5 goals each game. They’ve also conceded at least one goal in every match bar three, and two or more goals in five of those games. Colorado is on par with Vancouver in the standings with 22 points, making it an exciting matchup. Colorado has scored at least one goal in all but one match this season, but they’ve also conceded the fourth most goals in the MLS. Vancouver’s key offensive players are Ryan Gauld and Brian White, while Colorado’s Rafael Navarro is tied with Lionel Messi for the fourth most shots on target in the MLS this season. Given that neither team has a strong defense, a high-scoring match is expected. The predicted result is a draw at +290 with value, or both teams to score with a Vancouver win or draw at -115.

LAFC/FC Dallas: Both Teams to Score (-105)

LAFC is currently the top performing team in MLS, having won four consecutive games without conceding a single goal. However, Dallas has managed to score in their last seven matches, which could pose a challenge to LAFC’s streak. The statistical model predicts Dallas has a 52% chance of scoring, while LAFC has an 86% chance. Given these odds, along with Dallas’ scoring streak and the potential for LAFC to become complacent, it’s likely that both teams will score. Dallas has proven their ability to score against strong defenses like those of Houston and Salt Lake. Despite this, LAFC is predicted to win with a score of 2 or 3-1. If you’re not confident in Dallas’ ability to score, consider betting on LAFC to win without conceding a goal at +105.
