Blue Jays vs Brewers Predictions & MLB Picks Today (6/12)
The Blue Jays have been one of the MLB’s hotter teams in recent weeks and Tuesday’s victory solidified that fact. Yesterday’s performance marked Toronto’s 10th win in its last 15 outings and even improved to 4-2 SU in its last six meetings against the National League.
The Blue Jays now head into today’s game with some decide momentum after holding the Brewers to five hits without a run. In fact, Milwaukee hasn’t registered a single run in the last 11 innings of this series.
Having said that, some MLB bettors might view the home team’s loss as a fluke. After all, the Brewers had won six consecutive outings at American Family Field before suffering yesterday’s loss, outscoring those foes 41-22 on aggregate while notching five of six wins by two or more runs.
Furthermore, the Brewers are also 6-2 SU against their last eight American League opponents — including a 10-6 SU record at home and a 76.9% success rate as the favorite. For comparison, the Blue Jays are 5-5 SU against the NL on the road with a 2-6 SU record as the underdog against the opposite league.
If this game comes down to pitch, Chris Bassitt could give the Blue Jays an edge. The veteran right-handed hurler hasn’t given opposing batters much to work with lately, going 3-0 with a 1.44 ERA with 25 strikeouts and five walks across four starts. Furthermore, Bassitt gave up one or zero earned runs in three of those games.
Meanwhile, Tobias Myers has been hit or miss for the Brewers. On one hand, he pitched eight scoreless innings against the Detroit Tigers in his last start. On the other hand, his ERA at American Famil Field (6.75) is significantly worse than it is on the road (2.53).
But while the Brewers are the better team on paper, I’m backing the Blue Jays to win. Toronto has been on fire throughout the last month and Bassitt has been dealing on the mound. If the Jays can chase Myers early, I wouldn’t be shocked if this game gets ugly.
Considering how we’re predicting an upset, it only makes sense to ride with the Blue Jays moneyline for the best bet.

As mentioned before, Myers has been fairly inconsistent throughout the year. The Winter Haven, FL native isn’t a stranger to giving up his fair share of runs, having played to a 4.15 ERA in eight games/seven starts. He finished three of his starts with more than 2.5 runs, which includes two of his three home appearances this season.
With the way the Blue Jays have been performing, Myers will likely face an uphill battle this afternoon. Taking that into account, there’s a solid chance that he gets lit up again.
