As the European season gets underway, GOAL breaks down the top 10 Americans Abroad for the campaign

The European season is back and, for the U.S. men's national team stars playing in that part of the world, it started rather quickly. Goals, injuries, transfer rumors – it's all just getting started.

Several Americans scored big goals last weekend, kicking off their European seasons with a bang. Multiple of those goals came in the Championship, a league that once again looks like it'll be one to watch for fans of the USMNT as strikers go goal-for-goal every weekend.

Don't look past Serie A, though. Tim Weah began his season with a goal, too, but it came with a trade-off as he suffered an injury that could change plans a bit. Meanwhile, his teammate, Weston McKennie, finally ended a protracted transfer saga and agreed to stay at Juventus.

A new coach, Mauricio Pochettino, is reportedly on the way to the USMNT, but what will he see as he watches? There are stars scattered throughout different levels of Europe, giving the Argentine plenty to consider with his American roster going forward.

Who should he be keeping his eye on? GOAL breaks down the top 10 Americans Abroad.
