A 10-man Brazilians team managed to progress to the MTN8 semi-final round, after an own goal by Thabang Matuludi on Sunday.

Sundowns had a shaky performance in their quarter-final clash against Polokwane City at Lucas Moripe Stadium, made even more challenging when goalkeeper Denis Onyango was sent off for handling the ball outside the box. 

Despite the setback, they advanced thanks to Matuludi's own goal, which handed the Brazilians a crucial win.
