TONIGHT’S MATCHUP

The Blackhawks have points in four of their last five games against Philadelphia (3-1-1), including wins in their last two trips to Wells Fargo Center. A former Flyer, Petr Mrazek appeared in 17 games with Philadelphia during the 2017-18 campaign, posting a 6-6-3 record with one shutout. During their last meeting on March 30, Joey Anderson (1G, 1A), Philipp Kurashev (1G, 1A) and Lukas Reichel (1G, 1A) each posted two points during a 5-1 win in Philadelphia.

LAST TIME OUT

Chicago defeated the Florida Panthers 3-1 on Thursday evening at the United Center. Nick Foligno posted two points (1G, 1A). Teuvo Teravainen and Craig Smith each scored once while Tyler Bertuzzi, Pat Maroon and Alex Vlasic each added an assist. Jason Dickinson notched four hits and three blocked shots. Petr Mrazek made 32 saves on 33 shots (.970 SV%) for his sixth victory of the season. As a team, the Blackhawks recorded 19 blocked shots to just eight blocked shots for the Panthers.

Chicago captain Nick Foligno notched two points (1G, 1A) on Thursday and now has three points (1G, 2A) over his last three games. With his goal against Florida, Foligno now ranks second on the club with six goals in 20 games during the 2024-25 campaign. He also led all game skaters with six hits on Thursday and now shares eighth among all NHL players with 65 hits this season.

ALEX IN WONDERLAND

Against Florida, defenseman Alex Vlasic posted an assist and now shares second on the club with eight helpers in 20 games this season. He also posted two blocked shots on Thursday and now ranks sixth among all NHL skaters with 51 blocked shots during the 2024-25 campaign. He also led all skaters with 26:34 of time on ice and now ranks second on the club with an average time on ice per game of 23:31 this season.

GOLDEN TERA

Forward Teuvo Teravainen scored his team-leading fourth power play goal of the season against Florida. He now has points (1G, 1A) in back-to-back games and shares third on the club with five goals and 10 points in 20 games this season. Teravainen is currently 10 games shy of 700 for his NHL career. He would become the 24th Finnish-born player to hit the milestone.
