Maple Leafs Re-sign Alex Steeves To A One-year, Two-way Contract 

The hockey club, Toronto Maple Leafs, declared today that they have renewed the contract of forward Alex Steeves for another year. The two-way contract is worth $775,000 at the NHL level.

Last season, 24-year-old Steeves played 65 games with the Toronto Marlies, recording 57 points with 27 goals and 30 assists. He was also named to the 2024 AHL All-Star Game. Hailing from Bedford, New Hampshire, Steeves has participated in seven NHL regular seasons games with the Maple Leafs, where he managed to register an assist. Over three seasons with the Marlies, Steeves has chalked up 154 points (comprising 69 goals and 85 assists) over 188 regular season games, and added five points (one goal and four assists) in 10 playoff games.

On March 28, 2021, Steeves initially signed as a free agent with Toronto.
