BROSSARD – Following a day off, the Canadiens practiced at the CN Sports Complex on Wednesday before flying to Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Rafaël Harvey-Pinard, who has been skating with the group for the past while in a non-contact jersey, donned a regular jersey suggesting he can receive contact for the first time this season. The 25-year-old forward has been recovering from surgery on a broken leg.

Justin Barron, Jayden Struble, and Arber Xhekaj were on a rotation, while Harvey-Pinard and Michael Pezzetta skated as extras.
Head coach Martin St-Louis confirmed that Samuel Montembeault will start against Minnesota.
Puck drop for Thursday’s game against the Wild is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET. The team will return to the Bell Centre for a game against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday when the Habs will honor Shea Weber and his induction to the Hockey Hall of Fame. For tickets, click here.
