Chris Patrick, the senior vice president and general manager, announced today that the Washington Capitals will conduct their 2024 Rookie Camp from September 13-16 at the McMullen Hockey Arena in Annapolis, Md., ARLINGTON, Va.

Terik Parascak, a 2024 first-round pick, along with Andrew Cristall, Alexander Suzdalev, Ilya Protas and Zac Funk are among the Capitals rookies who will participate in the camp. A full roster will be made available at a later date.

After the end of Rookie Camp, the Capitals, in collaboration with MedStar Health, will commence their 2024-25 Training Camp. Additionally, they will conduct Caps Media Day on Thursday, Sept. 19 at the MedStar Capitals Iceplex.

The entirety of the Capitals team, including players, coaches, and management, will be accessible to the media. The full training camp schedule and roster will be revealed in due time. As in preceding years, the MedStar Capitals Iceplex will not be open to the media on Wednesday, September 18th – the day when Capitals veterans undergo physicals and testing off-ice. This year marks the Capitals’ 18th training camp at the MedStar Capitals Iceplex, a practice facility easily accessible from the Metro and located within the Beltway, boasting two NHL-standard rinks. All on-ice sessions will be free and open to the general public.
