Digital rendering gives fans sneak peek at Horseshoe set up for hockey
The Columbus Blue Jackets are raring to go for their first ever NHL outdoor game that their mascot showed up about four months early.
Stinger joined ESPN’s College Gameday to help show off a digital rendering of what the ice will look like for the 2025 Navy Federal Credit Union Stadium Series, set to drop the puck March 1 at The Ohio State University’s famed Horseshoe.

The team’s mascot hung out outside the stadium before the Buckeyes’ 38-15 victory over previously undefeated Indiana on Saturday, joining College Gameday’s Jess Sims. The duo brought fans a sneak peek at the transformation Ohio Stadium will undergo for the event.
The Blue Jackets will play host to the Detroit Red Wings at The Horseshoe.
