RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. suffered a low ankle sprain during Tuesday’s practice and will be sidelined for an undetermined amount of time, NFL Network Insiders Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport reported, per sources. Tracy was carted off the practice field and his ankle was put in in air cast and he was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.
WR Malik Nabers told reporters Tuesday that he’s feeling no pain in his ankle and that there is “no doubt” he will be ready for Week 1. Nabers underwent X-rays and MRI upon sustaining the injury in practice. Head coach Brian Daboll said Tuesday that Nabers will not be practicing today.
