  • CB Marlon Humphrey is expected to practice at mandatory minicamp next week, but HC John Harbaugh didn’t commit to him being a full-go.

Carolina Panthers

SIGNINGS

  • WR Daewood Davis of the UFL’s Memphis Showboats is expected to sign with the Panthers, pending a physical, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per a source. Davis was recently named to the All-UFL team after producing 41 receptions for 446 yards and five touchdowns (10 games).

INJURIES

  • CB Kyler Gordon was held out of Thursday’s practice because of back soreness, but HC Matt Eberflus added that it isn’t considered to be serious.

  • DT D.J. Reader, who’s recovering from a quad injury, might not be ready for the start of training camp, HC Dan Campbell announced Thursday.

Indianapolis Colts

INJURIES

  • QB Anthony Richardson was rested for Thursday’s practice after experiencing soreness in his right shoulder on Wednesday, HC Shane Steichen announced. Richardson, who underwent season-ending shoulder surgery in Oct., said Thursday he’s “not too worried about it.”
  • WR Alec Pierce didn’t practice out of precaution this week because his foot was stepped on last week, per Steichen.
  • S Daniel Scott was placed on injured reserve.
