Kansas City Chiefs WR Justyn Ross arrested Monday, charged with misdemeanor domestic violence, property damage

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross was arrested Monday afternoon and has been charged with misdemeanor domestic violence and property damage, according to District Court of Johnson County (Kansas) criminal complaint.

Ross made an appearance in Johnson County court on Tuesday and is expected to return on Dec. 4. His bond has been set at $2,500 and he has been instructed not to return to his residence until 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday night, providing his ex-girlfriend with time to collect her things.

Ross was arrested on Monday and originally charged with a felony for criminal damage exceeding $25,000, as per a report from the Sheriff’s Office of Johnson County, Kansas.

Ross, a 23-year-old undrafted free agent from Clemson, was signed by the Chiefs before the 2022 season. Unfortunately, he was put on injured reserve due to a foot injury. Despite this setback, Ross has participated in all seven games played by the Chiefs this season, but hasn’t started any. He has made three catches covering a total of 34 yards.
