What trade means: Aside from the Celtics and 76ers each receiving future second-round picks in these trades, the Celtics get a potential rotation player in Springer. Banton joins the Blazers, who are parsing through their young roster as they continue their rebuild. He is averaging 2.3 ppg and 1.5 apg this season and will join a frontcourt rotation that includes Kris Murray, Matisse Thybulle, Jermai Grant and others.
