Reportedly, Dwight Howard is departing from the Lakers for the second time, following his first NBA championship win.
Agent Charles Briscoe has informed Shams Charania of The Athletic that Dwight Howard and the Philadelphia 76ers have agreed on a one-year contract.

The 16-year NBA veteran and eight-time All-Star center is fresh from a redemption season with the Los Angeles Lakers, where he proved himself as a dependable player off the bench. In the regular season, Howard averaged 7.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game.
Per Bobby Marks of ESPN, the deal is worth the veteran minimum exception of $2.6 million.
Presumably, Howard will be the main backup for Joel Embiid in Philadelphia.
