Detroit Pistons center Jahlil Okafor underwent a successful surgical procedure to clean the lateral meniscus in his left knee, the team announced.
He is expected to miss 6-8 weeks.
Okafor has played in 12 games for Detroit this season, averaging 4.3 points and 2.3 rebounds.
