Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero was sidelined for Wednesday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks due to a left ankle sprain, the team announced. No Banchero? No problem for the Magic, who secured their third win of the season, outlasting Luka Doncic and the Mavericks 94-87.

Banchero, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, has been dominant to begin his rookie NBA season. The 6-foot-10 forward is averaging 23.5 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists over his first 11 NBA games.

On Monday, in Orlando’s game against the Houston Rockets, Banchero played for 35 minutes and scored 30 points.
