Each team was challenged to showcase a recipe that best represents their region’s most iconic culinary food. This recipe ranges from a favorite snack, dish or dessert that is unique to the team and fanbase.

The Hellboy Pie
What’s more New York than a slice of pizza? On almost any block across the five boroughs, you can find a great pizza shop. You know where else you can find a delicious slice? Madison Square Garden, served hot from the Paulie Gee’s stand. The Hellboy Recipe, in partnership with Paulie Gee’s, helps bring a taste of NYC and the New York Knicks straight to your kitchen.
Ingredients:

21.62 oz flour |
445.94 grams water |
12.16 grams salt |
12.16 grams oil blended |
4.05 grams yeast |
MARINARA SAUCE (yield: 5 gallons) |
6 onions; small diced |
32 cloves garlic |
6 cans tomato magic |
2 cups olive oil |
MISCELLANEOUS |
12 oz. of marinara sauce |
100 grams of pepperoni |
150 grams of shredded mozzarella |
150 grams of fresh mozzarella |
1/4 cup sesame seeds |
Directions:
MARINARA SAUCE:
- Saute onions in 1 cup of oil; cook onions until translucent
- Add tomatoes into pan with onions
- In a separate pan cook garlic cloves until golden
- Strain garlic oil into pot with tomatoes and onions. Cook for one hour
Note: Garlic is not put into the sauce
PIZZA PIE:
- Grease baking sheet and spread sesame seeds on the baking sheet
- Spread dough to cover baking sheet
- Top dough with mozzarella cheese mixture and par bake for 5-7 minutes
- Top dough with sauce and pepperoni
- Bake for an additional 10 minutes
