LAS VEGAS — The Golden State Warriors defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder, 90-83, in the NBA 2K25 Summer League at Thomas & Mack Center on Friday.
Despite never leading by more than 11 points, Golden State held the advantage after the opening five minutes. The Warriors shot 45.6% from the field while holding the Thunder to 38.0% shooting. Golden State out-assisted Oklahoma City, 23-17, while outscoring them in the paint, 36-24. The Warriors also outscored the Thunder in second-chance points, 14-4, and in fastbreak scoring, 12-4.
The Warriors (4-0) were led by Pat Spencer, who provided 17 points (8-10 FGs) and seven assists. Kevin Knox led the bench with 14 points, 10 rebounds and two assists. Yuri Collins collected 13 points, six rebounds and three assists, while Daeqwon Plowden amassed 13 points, three rebounds and two assists.
The Thunder (0-4) were led by Hunter Maldonado, accruing 25 points, five assists and three steals. KJ Williams totaled 12 points, seven rebounds and two steals. Jaden Shackelford led the bench with 12 points and three assists.
Golden State advances to the Summer League Semifinals with this win, returning to action on Sunday against an unknown opponent. Oklahoma City will play a consolation game against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.
