LAS VEGAS — The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Milwaukee Bucks, 112-81, in the NBA 2K25 Summer League at Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas on Sunday.
The Cavaliers got off to an impressive start, setting the tone of the contest by outscoring the Bucks 38-21 in the first quarter. The worst wasn’t over for Milwaukee, however, as Cleveland bolstered its lead even further following a 34-16 score in the second 10-minute period.
The Bucks showed signs of life in the third quarter and outscored the Cavs 27-20, but that wasn’t enough to mount a comeback. The Cavaliers closed things out with ease in the fourth and cruised to a 31-point victory.
All five starters scored in double digits for the Cavaliers. Emoni Bates led the way with 18 points, six rebounds and four assists. Craig Porter Jr. posted 15 points, seven assists and six rebounds. Pete Nance and Jaylon Tyson each had 14 points. Luke Travers had 10 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals.
MarJon Beauchamp led the way for the Bucks with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Chris Livingston was the only other starter who scored in double digits after posting 17 points and seven boards. Ryan Rollins added 10 points, five assists and four steals off the bench.
