The 2022-23 City Edition Uniform of the LA Clippers pays tribute to the team’s profound connection with the South LA community. The design includes elements that honor the heritage and spirited enthusiasm of the renowned Drew League.
The vibrant mosaic design on the chest takes inspiration from the famed Watts Towers, blending the traditional scripts of the Clippers and The Drew in the wordmark. Green, a significant color in the Drew League’s narrative, is utilized to adorn the inside bottom of the jersey.
The motto of the Drew League, “No Excuse. Just Produce,” is featured as the jersey jocktag anthem, flanked by dates commemorating the Drew League’s 50th anniversary on both sides.
