The 2022-23 City Edition Uniform of the LA Clippers pays tribute to the team’s profound connection with the South LA community. The design elements honor the heritage and fervent spirit of the highly respected Drew League, further celebrating this bond.
The vibrant mosaic design on the chest, inspired by the legendary Watts Towers, combines the traditional scripts of the Clippers and The Drew. Prominently featured in the narrative of the Drew League, green is used to line the bottom interior of the jersey.
The motto of the Drew League, “No Excuse. Just Produce,” serves as the anthem on the jersey jocktag. It is flanked by dates commemorating the Drew League’s 50th anniversary.
