The 2022-23 City Edition Uniform of the LA Clippers pays tribute to the team’s strong connection with the South LA community. It includes design elements that honor the heritage and fervor of the famous Drew League, reflecting the team’s deep-seated bond with the community.
The vibrant mosaic pattern on the chest draws inspiration from the famous Watts Towers, integrating classic scripts from the Clippers and The Drew into the wordmark. The color green, which plays a significant role in the narrative of the Drew League, is utilized to highlight the inside bottom of the jersey.
The motto of the Drew League, “No Excuse. Just Produce,” is proudly displayed as the jersey jocktag anthem. Dates marking the 50th anniversary of the Drew League flank either side of this motto.
