The 2022-23 City Edition Uniform of the LA Clippers pays tribute to the team’s strong connection with the South LA community. It includes design features that honor the heritage and fervent spirit of the famous Drew League.
The vibrant mosaic pattern on the chest is influenced by the famous Watts Towers, and it merges traditional scripts of the Clippers and The Drew in its wordmark. Green, a significant color in the Drew League’s history, is used to outline the lower inside of the jersey.
The Drew League’s mantra, “No Excuse. Just Produce,” is inscribed on the jersey jocktag, flanked by dates commemorating the league’s 50th anniversary.
