We’ve witnessed LeBron James’ extraordinary career unfolding over two decades, defying expectations and reinventing what it means to be a superstar. But beyond his athletic prowess, LeBron’s dedication to being a present father and husband makes him a role model for athletes striving to achieve balance.

LeBron became a father one year into his NBA journey when his son, Bronny, was born in October 2004. Arriving into the spotlight as the son of a legend, Bronny has grown up around the league.

On Thursday night during the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft, the Los Angeles Lakers selected Bronny with the No. 55 pick, solidifying history for the two as they will be the first active father-and-son pairing to play in the NBA.

While it will likely be months before we see the duo in the same Lakers uniform together, their bond has been on display for years.
