Clippers officially sign guard Reggie Jackson

Today, Lawrence Frank, President of Basketball Operations, announced that the L.A. Clippers have signed free agent guard Reggie Jackson. Consistent with team policy, the terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.

“Frank stated, “We are excited to incorporate Reggie’s experience and creativity into our team. He is a proven scorer and playmaker.”

Jackson, aged 29, has played 14 games this season for the Detroit Pistons, with an average of 14.9 points, 5.1 assists, and 2.9 rebounds in 27.2 minutes per game. Standing at 6’3″ and weighing 208 pounds, this guard has career averages of 12.9 points, 4.4 assists, and 3.0 rebounds over 544 games in his eight-year NBA career with the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Detroit Pistons. Prior to being the 24th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft by Oklahoma City, Jackson spent three seasons at Boston College. During his junior year, he earned first-team All-ACC honors.
