Korver passes Terry for No. 4 in career 3-pointers

Just one night after Stephen Curry surpassed The Jet for third all-time in 3-pointers made, Kyle Korver reminded everyone he’s an OG of this long-distance revolution, zooming by Jason Terry on his third trifecta against Chicago on Saturday.

Korver, trailing on the right wing in transition, nailed a catch-and-shoot 3 with 5 minutes, 57 seconds remaining in the third quarter to one-up Terry. Finishing the game 4-for-8, Korver sits on 2,284 total. While Korver could exchange spots with Curry here-and-there, considering their age difference (Korver turning 38 next month, is almost exactly seven years older) it’s only a matter of time before Curry pulls away for good.

After the game, Korver — after dodging a Gatorade shower — told Jazz sideline reporter Kristen Kenney, “I’m just really grateful. I never imagined getting to play this long, shoot this many shots, be on these great teams, play for these great fans … I’m just going to try to keep on going.”
