James Harden surpasses Hall of Famer Reggie Miller with his first triple of the night — the 2,561st of his career.
Philadelphia star James Harden stands in sole possession of third place on the NBA’s career 3-pointers list, surpassing former record-holder Reggie Miller with his first make Thursday against his former team, the Brooklyn Nets.
Harden accomplished the feat in vintage fashion, drilling the step-back 3-pointer over former teammate Kyrie Irving.
A three-time NBA scoring champion and season leader in total 3s made, Harden is hoping Joel Embiid and the Sixers can help him make his first Finals since being traded from Oklahoma City in 2012.
