Jordan Clarkson moved into a starting role last season for the Jazz.
The Utah Jazz are set to keep standout guard Jordan Clarkson around for several more seasons, it seems.
Per Shams Charania of The Athletic, Clarkson and the Jazz are finalizing a three-year, $55 million contract renegotiation and extension. The deal includes next season and would run through the 2025-26 season.

During his time with the Jazz, which began via a trade there in December 2019, Clarkson has held down varied roles in Utah. Over his first 2 1/2 seasons, he became one of the NBA’s top scorers off the bench and, in 2020-21, was the Kia Sixth Man of the Year Award winner.
Last season, he moved into a starting role and posted 20.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.4. assists per game in 61 games for Utah last season before a finger sprain kept him out of the team’s final 17 games.
The Jazz were active earlier in the offseason in swinging a reported trade for John Collins from the Atlanta Hawks. With Clarkson set to ink an extension and a core of All-Star Lauri Markkanen and second-year players Walker Kessler and Ochai Agbaji in the mix, the Jazz may be poised to improve on last season’s surprising 37-45 finish.
