Otto Porter left Game 3 of the Western Conference finals midway through the 2nd quarter after suffering a left foot injury.
The Warriors were without Otto Porter Jr. on Wednesday as they suffered their first defeat of the 2022 Western Conference finals, falling 119-109 in Game 4 against the Dallas Mavericks.
Porter was sidelined with a left foot injury, which he suffered in the second quarter of Game 3 of the series.
“He’s still sore,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr told reporters on Tuesday. “This gives him a couple of days to prepare for a possible Game 5.”

Shortly after halftime of Game 3, the Warriors ruled out Porter for the remainder of that game. He had X-rays later and his status going forward was not immediately known.
On Monday, Kerr said he considered Porter to be “doubtful” for Game 4 and that the team was figuring Porter’s status would be a close call entering Tuesday’s game.

Porter had been dealing with pain in his left heel since the Western Conference semifinals, an injury that forced him to miss the Warriors’ Game 6 win against the Memphis Grizzlies.
He has appeared in 13 playoff games, averaging 5.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. In the West finals, he logged 10 points and six rebounds in Game 1 and 11 points, seven rebounds and four assists in Game 2 before suffering his Game 3 injury.
