Guhle and Slafkovsky joined group, skated in non-contact jerseys
MONTREAL – Martin St-Louis held a morning skate at the Bell Centre on Saturday in preparation for the Canadiens’ game against the St. Louis Blues.
Kaiden Guhle and Juraj Slafkovsky joined the main group wearing blue jerseys, suggesting they cannot receive contact. Guhle and Slafkovsky are both out with upper-body injuries and will not face the Blues.
In total, 22 players hit the ice. Here are the projected forward lines for Saturday’s game:

Guhle took part in rotations with Jayden Struble and Arber Xhekaj, while Logan Mailloux and Mike Matheson, and Lane Hutson and David Savard, were seen paired together. Samuel Montembeault and Cayden Primeau completed the group. The former will take on St. Louis, while the latter will face the Flyers in Philadelphia on Sunday. Xhekaj will return to the lineup tonight.
For fans attending Saturday’s contest, the Ville-Marie Expressway (Autoroute 136) will be closed this weekend, so please plan accordingly!
