Los Angeles Lakers forward/guard LeBron James and Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum have been named the Kia NBA Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Month, respectively, for games played in February.
James posted averages of 26.0 points, 8.1 rebounds and 10.1 assists in 10 games during February. James also becomes the first Lakers player to earn the award in consecutive months since Kobe Bryant in December 2008 and January 2009. Tatum averaged 30.7 points, 7.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 12 February games. It’s the first time in Tatum’s three-year career he’s received the monthly honor.
Rookies of the Month
New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson and Chicago Bulls guard Coby White were named the Kia NBA Rookies of the Month for games played in February.
Williamson averaged 25.7 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists over 9 games in the month of February. White posted averages of 20.1 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.1 assists over 9 games for the Bulls.

Coaches of the Month
Milwaukee Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer and Houston Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni took home the honors for NBA Coaches of the Month for games played in February.
Over the course of the month, Budenholzer led the Bucks to a record of 10-1 while D’Antoni led Houston to a record of 9-2.
This is the second time Budenholzer has won Coach of the Month this season and the fifth time as head coach of the Bucks. D’Antoni has won the award 10 times in his career, including five times since joining Houston in 2016-17.
