Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) ruled out against the Bulls

The Bucks can clinch the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference with a win on Wednesday.

The Milwaukee Bucks will be without superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo on Wednesday against the Chicago Bulls (7:30 ET, ESPN) due to right knee soreness, coach Mike Budenholzer announced prior to the game.

Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer tells reporters that Giannis Antetokounmpo will be OUT for tonight’s game against the Bulls.

Antetokounmpo came out for his normal pregame warmup tonight, but cut it short before completing it.

The Bucks (57-22) can secure the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference and home-court advantage throughout the entire NBA Playoffs with a win against Chicago on Wednesday (or a loss by Boston against Toronto).

Antetokounmpo is averaging 31.1 points, 11.8 rebounds and 5.7 assists over 63 games this season.
