David Pastrnak shared a moment with his daughter before Monday’s game at TD Garden, although it probably wasn’t quite the one he had in mind.
During warmups, the Boston Bruins forward skated over to see his one-year-old daughter, Freya, and greet her before puck drop. Pastrnak acknowledged her with a light tap on the glass, then had to skate back to center ice to continue warming up. Freya didn’t seem to appreciate her dad skating away.

After a moment watching her dad skate down the ice, Freya burst into tears, clearly unhappy that she couldn’t spend more time with Pastrnak.
It wasn’t the first time Freya was at the center of a cute moment with her dad. Bruins fans might remember last season’s All-Star Game media day, when the toddler stole the show during Pastrnak’s press conference. While Pastrnak was answering questions from the media, Freya was enthralled by the microphones in front of her face and couldn’t get enough.
Sorry, David…

Even though it’s early, Freya is already solidifying herself as a daddy’s girl.
