The news was first reported by Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports. James, recently crowned top vote-getter and a captain for the 2019 NBA All-Star Game, is averaging 27.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 7.1 assists in 34.6 minutes for L.A.
