MONTREAL – The Canadiens announced on Monday that forward Alex Barré-Boulet has been loaned to the Laval Rocket.

The 27-year-old forward was placed on waivers for the purpose of the loan on Sunday and went unclaimed.

The Montmagny, QC native has played two games with the Habs this season.
