The NBA’s most exciting first and second-year players — as well as some standout stars from the NBA G League — will take part in the 2023 Jordan Rising Stars on Feb. 19 at Vivint Arena as part of NBA All-Star 2023.
But before that can happen, the teams of NBA rookies and sophomores had to be drafted by honorary coaches and former All-Stars Pau Gasol, Deron Williams and Joakim Noah. Here’s how the draft went down live in the NBA App:

Team Jason
The team of NBA G League players will be led by 2008-09 Kia NBA Sixth Man of the Year and 2011 NBA champion Jason Terry, a current Utah Jazz assistant coach and former coach of the NBA G League’s Grand Rapids Gold. The G League players include:

The Jordan Rising Stars format
All three games in the Jordan Rising Stars will be played on Friday, Feb. 17 from Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City beginning at 9 p.m. ET.
All three games will be played to a Final Target Score, which means the game will end on a made basket or free throw rather than time expiring.
The two semifinal games — Game 1 and Game 2 — will be played to a Final Target Score of 40.
The final game, featuring the winners, will be played to a Final Target Score of 25 to determine the tournament champion.
