MONTREAL – The Canadiens held their first morning skate of the 2024-25 season on Wednesday, hitting the ice at the Bell Centre ahead of their home opener against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Michael Pezzetta and Oliver Kapanen were the extras. Jayden Struble is being evaluated on a day-to-day basis and did not join his teammates for the skate.
If these lines hold for the game, Montmagny native Alex Barré-Boulet would be suiting up for his first career game in a Canadiens uniform.
