Karl-Anthony Towns will be sidelined after entering league protocols.
Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns has entered the NBA’s Health and Safety Protocols, the team announced on Thursday.
The Timberwolves now have seven players in protocols, with Towns joining Anthony Edwards, Patrick Beverley, Josh Okogie, Taurean Prince, Jarred Vanderbilt and McKinley Wright IV.

The NBA’s Health and Safety Protocols require players to be sidelined at least 10 days or record two negative COVID-19 tests in a 24-hour period before they can resume basketball activities.
Towns is averaging 24.5 points, 9.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists across 30 appearances this season.
Minnesota is 15-16 and ninth in the Western Conference standings.
Towns, 26, announced in January that he tested positive for COVID-19.
