LAS VEGAS – The Indiana Pacers defeated the Phoenix Suns, 98-94, in the NBA 2K25 Summer League at Cox Pavilion on Tuesday.

There were nine ties and 14 lead changes in this game, with neither team leading by more than 11 points. Phoenix led right before the half, but Indiana rode a 29-18 third quarter to their victory. The Pacers shot 42.3% from 3-point range (11-for-26) and 80.8% from the free-throw line (21-for-26) while holding the Suns to 34.5% from long range (10-for-29); Phoenix shot only 73.3% from the charity stripe (14-for-19) and was out-rebounded Phoenix, 52-34.

The Pacers (1-2) were led by Jarace Walker, who collected 19 points, four rebounds and five assists. Johnny Furphy finished with 18 points, eight rebounds and two steals. Oscar Tshiebwe tallied 16 points and four boards, while Tristen Newton amassed 10 points, four rebounds, six assists and three steals.

The Suns (0-2) were led by Quinndary Weatherspoon, who provided 17 points and two steals off the bench. David Roddy led the starters with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Oso Ighodaro amassed 12 points, four assists and four steals, while Michael Devoe totaled 10 points, five rebounds and five assists.

On deck for Phoenix is a matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday. As for Indiana, they face the Denver Nuggets on Thursday for their next outing.
