Report: Mario Hezonja agrees to join New York Knicks for one season

Former lottery pick Mario Hezonja will join the New York Knicks on a one-year, $6.5-million deal, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Sunday.

Hezonja, a three-year veteran, has yet to live up to hopes as the fifth pick in the 2015 draft by the Orlando Magic. He did show signs of turning the corner last season, however, averaging a career-high 9.6 points.
