  • WR Tee Higgins has officially had the franchise tag applied, the team announced. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport initially reported Cincinnati was expected to apply the tag to Higgins on Friday. “Tee has done an outstanding job for us since we drafted him in 2020,” Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said in a team statement. “I’m glad that he’ll continue to be a big part of our offense and our team.”

Detroit Lions

SIGNINGS

  • LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin has agreed to a two-year, $7.5 million contract extension worth a max of $8 million, NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo reported, per his agent. Reeves-Maybin also gets $5.245 million guaranteed and a $2.5 million signing bonus, which are both records for a special teams player, per Garafolo.

Green Bay Packers

  • LB Rashan Gary‘s contract was restructured to clear $4.78 million in cap space, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported.
