They are not very good on the road with a 2-6 record. The offense on this team isn’t the worst with Griner, Diana Taurasi and newly add Kahleah Copper. Phoenix is 5th in points per game, 3rd in pace and 7th in offensive rating.
Defensively, they’re not the best and it hurts them. They’re 9th in defensive rating, 8th in steals and 10th in rebounding. This is an area they need to get better in because it will cause them to never get ahead.

With all the trouble Dallas has been having, it’s hard to back them. The sportsbooks are also giving us a short line, which makes me lean with Phoenix even more.
I like the Mercury to cover the 4.5 points tonight. They won their last game against the Wings by 7 points in double OT and that was with Griner who had a 24-point performance. Copper put up 29 points and Taurasi had a 20 piece herself.
After that game, I think that Phoenix has Dallas’ number. I expect them to come out fast and try to get an early lead. The bigger that lead is early, the harder it’s going to be for Dallas to get back into the game.
For some props, I like Griner to get her points. The line should come out around 19.5 points. I also like Natasha Cloud to get her assists which will probably be around 6.5.
