The 2022-23 City Edition Uniform of the LA Clippers pays homage to the team’s profound connection with the South LA community. This includes design features that honor the heritage and spirited passion of the famous Drew League.
The vibrant mosaic pattern on the chest draws inspiration from the famed Watts Towers, and merges the classic scripts of the Clippers and The Drew into its wordmark. Green, a significant color in the narrative of the Drew League, is used to trim the bottom interior of the jersey.
The motto of the Drew League, “No Excuse. Just Produce,” is displayed on the jersey jocktag anthem, flanked by dates commemorating the league’s 50th anniversary.
