The 2022-23 City Edition Uniform of the LA Clippers pays tribute to the team’s strong connection with the South LA community. It incorporates design elements that honor the heritage and fervor of the celebrated Drew League.
The vibrant mosaic pattern on the chest draws inspiration from the famous Watts Towers. It merges traditional scripts of the Clippers and The Drew in the wordmark. Green, a significant color in the Drew League’s narrative, is employed to outline the lower inside part of the jersey.
The motto of The Drew League, “No Excuse. Just Produce,” is featured as the jersey jocktag anthem, flanked by dates commemorating the league’s 50th anniversary on both sides.
