Chris Patrick, the senior vice president and general manager, announced today that the Washington Capitals will conduct their 2024 Rookie Camp from September 13 to 16 at the McMullen Hockey Arena in Annapolis, Md., in Arlington, Va.

Terik Parascak, a 2024 first-round pick, Andrew Cristall, Alexander Suzdalev, Ilya Protas, and Zac Funk are among the Capitals rookies set to participate in the camp. The full roster will be disclosed at a forthcoming date.

After the end of Rookie Camp, the Capitals will kick off their 2024-25 Training Camp in collaboration with MedStar Health. They will also have Caps Media Day on Thursday, Sept. 19 at the MedStar Capitals Iceplex.

The entire Capitals team, including players, coaches, and management, will be accessible to the media. The full schedule and roster for the training camp will be revealed in due time. In line with previous years, MedStar Capitals Iceplex will not be open to the media on Wednesday, September 18 – the day when Capitals veterans undergo physicals and off-ice testing. This year marks the 18th training camp for the Capitals at MedStar Capitals Iceplex, a practice facility with two NHL-sized rinks that’s accessible by metro and located within the Beltway. The public is welcome to watch all on-ice sessions, which are free of charge.
