The feeling was one of déjà vu, years down the line. The time was the start of ’96 when the NBA All-Stars graced the city. The All-Stars showcased their uniforms under the dazzling lights of the Dome. These were the uniforms that would later serve as the inspiration for the 2022-23 City Edition uniform of the San Antonio Spurs, complete with a rich turquoise color and retro details.
