Free agent center Tristan Thompson has reached an agreement with the Boston Celtics on a two-year, $19 million contract, reports Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports.

Thompson spent the first nine seasons of his career with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The former No. 4 overall pick averaged a double-double (12.0 ppg; 10.1 rpg) for a second consecutive season.
The 29-year-old played in 447 consecutive games from 2012 through 2017, and leaves as the Cavaliers’ No. 3 career rebounder. He is the ninth-leading active offensive rebounder in the league (2,115) and ranks among the top 100 all-time (currently No. 91).
